CINKANT, Sylvia Leigh (née Hill) passed away on March 1st, 2025, in Ladysmith, BC, surrounded by her children at the age of 89. She was born on February 1, 1936, in Montreal, QC.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, John Edmond Cinkant, on February 6, 2010. Sylvia is survived by her children: Chris (Melanie), Sally (Dave), Steve, and Laura (David). Her legacy lives on in her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Duncan, BC, in May, bringing together family and close friends to honor her memory. Following the Celebration of Life, there will be an open house at 940 Malone Road, Ladysmith, BC, where everyone is welcome to join the family. In lieu of flowers, Sylvia kindly requested that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
