March 11, 1929 – January 30, 2013
Bill passed away at home with his wife, Melvina by his side. He passed as he lived his life; quietly, without complaint. Bill was born in Wainwright, Alberta and grew up in the Turner Valley. He spent most of his life working in the oil fields. Retirement lead to peace and contentment, enjoying his many hobbies; handcrafting furniture, making cement yard ornaments, willow furniture and juicing apples for his family and friends. We will never forget his many talents, his great sense of humor, the unconditional love and devotion to his family. A man of few words often led to this phrase “And so it goes”, that became the title of the book about his life. Left to mourn his passing, his wife Melvina, their three children Sherry Plumb (predeceased by son-in-law Ron Plumb), Bill Blinn Jr.(Sharon) and Marina Nelson(Trevor), three very special grandchildren Nevada, Olivia and Rebakah, brother Vern Blinn and niece Jackie and her daughter Meagan. A private remembrance will be held at the family home.
