Mr. Alfred "Fred" Alvin Repka

Alfred "Fred" Alvin Repka, 91, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in Dallas, TX after fighting the good fight with a brief illness. He was born August 16, 1923 near Cyclone, TX to Edd and Annie Repka. He was a WW II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. Fred married Ann Dana February 6, 1946 in Temple, TX and together they had 2 children; Gary and Susan. Fred retired from General Motors after more than 34 years of dedicated service. He was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Desoto, TX. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ann, son, Gary Repka and his wife Debbie, daughter, Susan Pollard and her husband Robert; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday November 6, 2014 at David Clayton Funeral Home 200 West Center Street Duncanville, TX 75116. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday November 7, 2014 at First United Methodist Church - Desoto 310 Roaring Springs Drive Desoto, TX 75115. Interment will follow at at Little Bethel Memorial Park 1803 S. Cedar Hill Road Duncanville, TX 75137. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to First United Methodist Church 310 Roaring Springs Drive Desoto, TX 75115.
