Bernie was a client of mine in the early 70’s. I worked in a home salon in Murmil Heights, Bernie gave me a cook book for a wedding gift that I still use. She always had good sound counsel for a young woman who trusted her advice. Bernie also gave me a “porta-a-crib” that my son, granddaughters and a nephew sleep in So sorry she was a good friend. Brenda Miller 8703104293 I would love to hear from you.

Loved all the pictures shared. She was beautiful! Bernie was like a second grandmother to me while growing up with her granddaughters Katy, Sara, and Stephanie from a very young age of 5. I'm pretty sure she'd considered me like a granddaughter as well. We probably made her want to pull out her hair at times running around the house and being wild care free kids, but she still loved us. She always had cinnamon rolls perfectly topped with icing ready for us in the morning. I'll always remember her sitting in her recliner and cracking jokes. Lol. I'm happy to hear that she will be laid to rest next to her husband after all these years. She lived such an awesome long 95 years! I hope I can do the same! We love you Bernie and will miss you dearly!

Trisha - there are so many happy memories with Bernie. Countless board games at the kitchen table, making orange cupcakes, giggling about “Bernie Fits” when we knew there was a 99.99% chance we were going to be in trouble. She was a special lady, and I am blessed to have known her. Take care and remember all of the joy. Sharon

We’ve known Bernie for many years through our Ministry at Deer Creek Our hearts are heavy in the loss of our sweet friend.

She was very faithful in attending Church service at Deer Creek on Sunday’s. She always had a sweet smile waiting for us when we arrived on Sunday mornings.

We also enjoyed her quick wit and sense of humor.

She was always ready to play bingo and share sweet fellowship with us on our monthly Birthday celebration Tuesday.

Deer Creek will not be the same without her.
