Betty Jean Thompson passed away Monday March 23, 2015 in Dallas, TX. She was born November 5, 1934 in Logan, Utah to Autry Vernon Stroud and Eva Mae Schell who preceded her in death along with 9 brothers and sisters. She is survived by son, Tommy Parish; 3 daughters, Bonnie Huff Smith, Paula Shofner, and Ann Cruz; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. She was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 4477. The family offers special thanks to Gentiva Hospice at Charlton Methodist Medical Center. She will be interred at the DFW National Cemetery.
