I read with regret of the passing of Chester Green. He became part of my life in the late 60's when he worked at Texas Instruments. He was going to mortuary school at the time, and worked 2nd shift at TI. Due to his work ethic and character, Chester was made a group leader over the assembly area where he worked. Chester was always friendly and upbeat, even though working two jobs. Everyone enjoyed his company, and benefited from his presence.
After he left TI to work in his chosen profession, I lost contact with him, but never forgot him. I made a couple of unsuccessful attempts to contact him, but was unsuccessful. I am very sorry for his family's loss, but I know that they, and everyone who knew him, will hold him in their hearts with fond memories that will comfort them and give them peace. God bless his family.
