

Christie Earl Doyle, 75, passed peacefully October 31, 2017 surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with Pseudo Supranuclear Palsy. He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Jon Doyle and father Christopher James Doyle. He is survived by wife Betty Jo Dawson-Doyle; Brother Ronald Doyle and wife Debbie; Children: Ray Hendricks, Tracy Clark and husband Terry, and Leslie Cline and husband Charles; Grandchildren: Sean Doyle and wife Jamie, Jamie Hendricks, Jennifer Hendricks, Alexander Clark, Elizabeth Sullivan and husband Joe, Jacob Walker, Steven Hendricks, Katelynn Cline, Cameron Whatley, Kaira Cline, and Kalleigh Cline. Great-grandchildren: Christopher and Lauren Doyle, and Zaiden, Zeppelin, and Zeeland Sullivan. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was born in Port Arthur, TX, but raised as a resident of both Texas and Oklahoma. After graduating from Del City High School, he went on to procure a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science from Southwestern State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma and graduated in 1966. He met his wife Betty through a long-time friend Frank Pieschel and spent many wonderful years together before marrying in November of 2000. He was a proud member of the Irving Jaycees and the Elks and spent over forty years serving and bettering his community. He worked as a pharmacist his entire adult career and obtained the nicknames “Mr. Fazio’s” and “Diamond Jim Doyle”. He was a wonderful man known for his love of all sports and his sense of humor, but most of all his love for his family and his heart of gold. The Viewing will be held Thursday November 2, 2017 at David Clayton and Sons Funeral Home in Duncanville, TX from 6-8pm. The service will be held November 3, 2017 at 1:00pm at David Clayton and Sons Funeral Home followed by the interment at Lauralland Memorial Park in Dallas, TX.
