James Willis "Jim" Ellis Born July 31, 1927 in Los Angeles, California and passed away May 7, 2016 in Cedar Hill, Texas at the age of 88. Jim is preceded in death by his wife Teri Ellis. He is survived by his son James W. Ellis, daughter Bonnie Lynn Ellis and husband Justin Turnage, daughter Evelyn Ellis Hinton and husband Larry, 6 grandchildren Jaime Ellis-Smith, Stephanie Cruz, Jonathan Grimmett, Stephen Grimmett, Katie Butler and Bobby Hensley, 5 great grandchildren and 1 on the way, longtime companion Margaret Venable, sister Bonnie Frances Ellis and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
