Kenna Lee Vose
December 28, 1973 – November 9, 2018
Kenna, the woman who never met a stranger, and who never forgot who you were and where she met you, has probably had the time of her life meeting her friends and family in Heaven. Kenna Lee Vose, born December 28, 1973, in Pueblo, Colorado, died November 9, 2018 in Waxahachie, Texas. In the past two years she was predeceased by three grandmothers: Dorothy Magnus, Vera Viola Vose, and LaVera Sloan. Her niece, Katie Mugele, was also waiting for her in Heaven. Kenna is survived by her parents, Leonard and Elaine Vose; siblings: Carlin Vose and his wife, Sarah; Dawn Mugele and her husband, Erik; Tonya D'Anna and her husband, Eric; daughter, Aubrey Miller; birth mother, Donna Van Duzee; half sister, Wendy Houser; half brother, Michael McKee, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her much-loved dogs, Baby Girl and Samson. Kenna joined the Vose family at age 4 and lived in West Chicago, Illinois; Indiahoma, Oklahoma; Littleton, Colorado; and Duncanville, Texas where she attended Christway Academy. At age 21 she gave birth to Aubrey and placed her for adoption. She always longed to be reunited with Aubrey and was able to attend her graduation from Dallas Baptist University this past May. She was thrilled to see the beautiful young lady Aubrey had become. Because of her connection with Fatherheart Maternity Home, Kenna joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and attended Ecola Hall Bible College in Cannon Beach, Oregon. She then remained in Oregon for 18 years, working as a waitress. She loved the Oregon coast and made many friends and blessed many people there. Three years ago, she returned to the Dallas area and worked at Pappadeaux's restaurant in Duncanville until recently. If you wish to give a gift, the family suggests you give to the ministry or organization of your choice in her memory. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 1:30 p.m. in the Events Center at the International Linguistics Center, 7500 West Camp Wisdom Road Dallas, TX 75236. Kenna Lee Vose
November 16, 2018
I am heartsick to hear of Kenna's passing. My sweetest memories of her are from Fatherheart. Her passion for life and deep love for others impacted me from the first time we met. I love her from a deep place in my heart and soul. I feel tremendous gratitude for a loving sacrifice she made almost 24 years ago. I will be praying for her family and loved ones as they move forward in this difficult time. Rest In Peace Precious Kenna. You leave a void in this world, but I know you are resting joyfully in the arms of Jesus. We will meet again one sweet day. Linda

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Kenna. Kenna worked in our accounting department here at YWAM Tyler and we were so blessed to be able to invest into her life. I believe she was in our department for at least two years. She was a good worker and we shared laughter, stories and even tears. I often wondered about her after she left but never did hear anything until this announcement came. If there is anything you could share with us about Kenna we would love to hear.
Again our sincere condolences.
