On April 8, 2020, Lillian Clara (Muell) Dugger, a member of America’s “Greatest Generation,” passed away peacefully at the age of 100. She was born into the farming community of Panama, Iowa, on October 29, 1919 to her parents Joseph and Frances Muell. She had a long life of service during her 35 years career as a registered nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Ned E. Dugger, and is survived by her children: Lawrence (Evelyn), Thomas, John (Pam), and Catherine, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and “adopted” daughter Helen Bucklew. She will be buried at D/FW National Cemetery and a Memorial Service will be scheduled at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, in Duncanville, when social distancing restrictions are lifted.
