Passed peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, August 11, 2012 in his eighty-eighth year. Gordon leaves to mourn his first wife and close friend Eunice, his son Michael (Karen) Potter of Scarborough, his step-children Sandi Smith (Chris), Linda (Garry) Gramsch, Dennis (Barbara) Roye, and Barbara Roye; and his grandchildren Christopher, Alyssa, Ryan, Michael, Kamen, Allea, Laurie, Frank; and all great-grandchildren. Gordon was predeceased by his second wife Mabel, son Rick Potter, and step-daughter Judy Roye. Gordon’s family extends their thanks to the Aberdeen Gardens Retirement Residence for their care and compassion during his stay. According to Gordon’s wishes, cremation has taken place – no service will be held. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
