Mildred was born in California and at the age of 2, when her mother died, was adopted by a loving couple in Hamilton where she lived for most of her life. She always spoke highly of her parents. Mildred’s passions were curling, golf, reading, live theatre, crosswords, jigsaw puzzles and sweets! In the past number of years, she enjoyed many hours at the Pearce cottage on Lake Erie looking out at the lake and watching the birds. Her quick wit and positive disposition will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
As per Mildred’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford Ave.), Hamilton, on Thursday, December 9th, 2021 at 11a.m.
As the funeral home capacity is limited, please call the funeral home at 905-528-6303 to RSVP for the service. All visitors will be required to wear a face covering, as well as provide name and telephone number to funeral home staff. For those who wish, the service will be live streamed at www.marlattfhhamilton.com on Mildred’s webpage.
