Peacefully passed away at Juravinski Hospital on Sunday, October 1, 2017 in his 80th year. Survived by his wife of 56 years, June McVey. Survived by his sister Elizabeth and predeceased by his siblings John, William, Jean and Ann. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews both in Canada and Scotland. Longtime member of Legion Br. 58, Masonic Lodge, Electric Lodge and Moose Lodge. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Juravinski Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford Ave.), Hamilton, on Thursday, October 5th, 2017 at 11 a.m., with visiting one hour prior.
