Passed peacefully May 15th 2012.
Layton spent 25 years serving his country with the USAF before retiring to Florida in 1970.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary and Sandy, a Son, James, and three grandchildren, Jason, Allen, and Maddisun.
Layton has left us to reunite with his wife of 54 years, Jean.
