Norma Haddock Haddock Smith

Born in Archer City Texas and raised most of her youth in Decatur Alabama she graduated from Riverside High School (Now Decatur High) in 1950. Upon graduation from high school she took up employment with the local dairy in a clerical capacity. In 1955 she took a civil service job at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville Alabama and remained employed by the federal government until 1988 when she retired in civilian payroll (NETFIPC) at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. She later took a job at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida for 2 years in the nursing personnel office.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Gerald S. Smith Sr., by 17 days. She is survived by her brother Russell Haddock three sons David Grant Smith and Kerry Alan Smith and a step son Gerald S. Smith Jr.(Jerry), and two grand children Nola and Max.
