William L. Coakley

Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Bill, formerly from Medford, MA, had

lived in Clearwater Florida for the past 19 years. He is survived by

his 3 daughters, 2 grandchildren, 1 sister, and several nieces and

nephews. Bill served in the Army during WWII and 2 days after coming

home from the war, he married his sweetheart, Betty Furlotte. Betty

passed away 13 months ago. Bill worked hard at his career as a general

manager, but also enjoyed golfing, skiing, and bowling. His favorite

memories are of wonderful travels and summers on cape cod, fishing and

boating. Bill will always be remembered as a hard worker with a

quick wit and a good sense of humor.

A Celebration of Life for both Bill and Betty will be held in spring

2014 in Medford, MA.
