Dunn, NC Betty Martin Harrelson, 93, died Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Cornerstone Nursing & Rehab Center in Dunn. She was born September 15, 1920, daughter of the late William Troy and Lillie Florence Byrd Martin. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Johnson and Roland Harrelson, brothers, William Casper "Cap" Martin, Joe Martin, Talmadge Martin, Malcolm Martin and Wilbert Martin, sisters, Nola Matthews, Iula Wrench, Alice Martin, Viola Burnette and Lessie Casey. Mrs. Harrelson was a Church of God Minister and a Nursing Assistant for many years. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in Mt. Zion PFWB Church Cemetery on Highway 13. A private viewing by the family will be held at Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funeral Home prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
