Bobby Bryan Burnette

On Sunday, April 30, 2023 Bobby Bryan Burnette of 808 West Blackman Rd., Dunn went to heaven to celebrate his 46th birthday with his mama and daddy and the rest of his love ones in the arms of Jesus.

Bryan was born April 30, 1977 in Harnett County the son of the late Bobby Burnette and Linda Faye Reaves Burnette. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Floyd & Inez Reaves, paternal grandparents, JR Bob & Gracie Burnette, Aunt, Joyce B. Hair, Uncles, Bud, Robert, Andrew, & Earl Burnette and Jerry Tart. He also preceded in death by cousins, Robbie Williams and Clay Burnette.

Bryan was a graduate of Triton High School, He worked for many years at CVS Pharmacy in Fayetteville where he became a store manager.

Bryan was always a mama & daddy’s boy, they were his life. Bryan and Josh were married for 14 years, they were soulmates and after the loss of his parents, Josh took care of him. He was an only child, but he loved his cousins, Shelby and Sharon and considered them his sisters and not cousins.

He loved Michael Jackson and video games. He loved music and spent time writing songs and singing them. He loved the Lord.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 5, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Chapel with Rev. Randy Beasley and Ron Tart officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

He is survived by: His husband and soulmate: Joshua Gassman Burnette of the home.

His special cousins: Shelby Tyndall & (Mike) and Sharon Williams & (Allan).

Uncle and Aunts: Jimmy Reaves & (Carolyn) and Lynn Tart.

Father & Mother-in-law: John & Donna Gassman

Sisters-in-law: Sara Mahal, Amanda Gassman & (Joanna).

Niece: Sahara Mahal

Other cousins: Jessie, Brittany, Mitchell, Sean, Shag, Brandon Tyndall, “His Shoe Girl” Tip Boykin (Billy), Milton Wilson, Christina Hardin (Tyler), Philip & Jeffery Reaves, Lisa Tanner, Tammy Johnson, Jeremy & Jonathan Tart, Justin, Aerial & Cheyenne Williams, Dean, Wanda, Crystal, Lindsay, Andy & Samantha Burnette and Kyle Bowers.

His little dog: Ricky, who was his baby.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Shelby and Mike Tyndall, 461 Ashley Lynn Lane, Dunn, NC.
