Brenda Marie Young

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Ronnie Dewayne Lowery (Tammy) of Four Oaks, NC, Aaron Scott Lowery of Four Oaks, NC, Tara Marie Lowery of Raeford, NC, Janet Kristen Locklear (Travis) of Aberdeen, NC, and Andrea LaShan Harris (Brittany) of Wake Forest, NC; Brenda also leaves behind 12 Grandchildren, 9 Great-grandchildren, her brother Shelton Dwight Young (Lisa) of West End, NC, and her sister Hollie Maria Smith of Pinebluff, NC, as well as her Special Friends Alexandria Williams, Jessica Green, and Patsy Knorr.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father Shelton D. Young, her mother Vennie Marie Singletary, her sisters Kathy Lynn Strickland and Donna Kay Harris, and her brother James Daniel Young.

Brenda's hobbies were shopping, going to the mountains and the beach, spending time with her family and friends, and reading her bible. She also enjoyed researching her family tree on Ancestry.com because she wanted to know who her family was. She loved her children, and her grandbabies and great-grandbabies, who knew her as "Meme".

A Celebration of Life for Brenda Young will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 3 PM at New Beginning Baptist Church, 2909 Fulford McMillan Rd, Raeford, NC 28376, officiated by Pastor Wyvast Lowery.
