Erma Irene Page, age 90, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Bethesda Nursing Home in Eastover. She was born on August 31, 1929 in Dunn to the late John William Daniels and the late Elsie Hair Daniels. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Nathan Elmon Page, Sr.; brothers: James Daniels, Leonard Daniels and Dexter Daniels; sisters: Nell Walker, Margaret Baker and Annie Merle Faircloth. Ms. Erma really enjoyed the simple things in life, like front porch sitting. It didn’t matter if it was one of her many trips to the beach or to the mountains, she could always be found in a rocking chair somewhere on a screened in porch. She was a seamstress for many years, having done work for the Athletic Store, sewing patches on letterman jackets; and PS&L where she retired. Erma loved to crochet and listen to her southern gospel music. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Erma leaves behind to mourn her passing her three sons: Nathan Elmon Page, Jr. and wife Cindy of Fayetteville, William “Billy” Ray Page, Sr. and wife Billie Darlene of Fayetteville, and James Earl Page and wife Angie of Flat Rock, North Carolina; two daughters: Sandra Faye Brockington of Princeton and Lou P. Rogers and husband Jerry of Linden; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
