Gloria S Bissette
December 27, 1950 – April 30, 2018
Gloria Diane Bissette, age 67 of Alyssa Lane in Dunn, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at her home. She was born December 27, 1950 in Harnett County to Pearl Griffin Strickland and the late Raymond Lacey Strickland. She is also preceded in death by her son Byron Warren and her brother Durwood Strickland. Diane retired from Campbell University and enjoyed her life alongside her parents, children, and grandchildren. Family was her greatest treasure, she poured her heart into all she did for them. Her passion and love to care for things was evident in her beautiful gardens. Her irises were the envy of all her gardening friends. She loved to create things, recipes, crafts and especially to crochet. Every member of her family has a scarf or a hat to treasure, made especially for them with love. Oftentimes, Diane could be found sitting on her porch sipping a cup of coffee and enjoying the birds, hummingbirds in particular. She will be truly missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know her.
Diane leaves behind to mourn her passing, her husband Ronald Bissette; daughter: Relaye Capps and husband Brad of Coats; Son: David Bissette of Acworth, Georgia; grandchildren: Alyssa Walker, Christopher Keeler Jr., Talon Keeler and Brodie Warren; great-grandchild: Elias Walker; her brother: Ronald Strickland and wife Pam of Erwin and a host of nephews and other family and friends.
In accordance with Diane’s wishes, she will be cremated without any formal ceremony or service.
