Izetta Reginia Lee

Mrs. Izetta Frix Lee, age 91, of Dunn passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, July 31, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Lee was born in Cumberland Co. on July 20, 1926 the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Frix & Minnie Ella Crane Frix. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joel Faison Lee. She is also preceded in death by a brother, David Sampson Frix, an infant brother, sisters, Annie Laurie Autry, Faye McDonald Hall & Juanita Ella Norris and a son-in-law, Ben Milligan. She was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother. She always thought of her daughters, sons-in-laws and grandson before herself. She worked with Carolina Telephone Co. for 12 years and was co-owner and bookkeeper of Lanky’s Bicycle Shop until her husband’s death in 1982. She was a long time member of Second Baptist Church of Dunn. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. W.A. Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by: Daughters: Angela K. Lee Barefoot & (husband) Brookie L. Barefoot of Dunn, NC; Joy E. Lee Milligan of Dunn. Grandson: W. Joel Barefoot of Greenville, SC. The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Second Baptist Church, One hour prior to the Service. Her family would like to thank Transition LifeCare Hospice of Wake Co. for their care and also Ann Marie Ennis in her final days.
