Joseph Felton Everett, age 73 of Lee’s Place Drive, Lillington, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Saturday, April 21, 2018 with his wife of 54 years, Ella and son, Randy and all his family by his side.
Joe was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he was involved with Maintane and was an usher for many years. He loved hunting, fishing and talking to everyone he met. He owned and operated Everett’s Welding Company for 35 years.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Irene Everett and a sister, Elsie Marie Tart.
He leaves behind his wife Ella Everett; son: Randy Gleen Everett of Lillington; two grandchildren: Dustin Miller of Buis Creek and Chad Everett of Lillington; two great grandchildren: Dustin Miller, Jr. and Blake Miller; four sisters: Mary Smith and husband Ricky of Four Oaks, Peggy Richards and husband Tony Buck of Wilmington, Linda Clark of Linden, Joann Senters and husband Joe of Lillington; his beloved birddog, Jack.
You are cordially invited to a time of visitation on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 106 S McKay Ave. Dunn, North Carolina 28334, with Father Joseph G. Mulroney presiding. He will be laid to rest at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington with Lee Joe Senters, Ricky Smith, Danny Daniels, Tony Buck, Dustin Miller and Matt Brown serving as pallbearers.
