Kirby Preston Wood, age 16 of Dunn died Tuesday. June 7, 2016. Preston was born in Harnett County on September 9, 1999 the son of Michael Bryon Wood and Billie Jo Williford. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, K. Houston Williford. Preston loved people whether family or friends and had a special talent for making people feel good and spreading joy and happiness. He was all about “Having A Goodtime” and trying to make those around him do the same. He loved music whether it was playing the guitar, piano or listening to his favorite artist. A Celebration Of Preston’s Life Service will be Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 10:00am in the Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ricky Manning and Rev. Rayford McLeod officiating. Entombment will follow at a later date in Erwin Memorial Park.
