November 6, 1946 – April 10, 2019
Lois Warren, age 72 of Angier, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at her home. She was born on November 6, 1946 in Harnett County, North Carolina to the late Jim Wellons Johnson and the late Burchel Blanche Faircloth Johnson. She is also preceded in death by her husband Jerry Lewis Warren and her sister Margie Hall. Lois was a strong woman who loved working with her hands. Her flower gardens would rival those of royal palaces! One of her favorite past times was woodworking with Jerry. She would design furniture and Jerry would create it out of wood. She wasn't to be outdone by her husband though, she too would grab a saw and some nails and build some of the most beautiful pieces of furniture you have ever seen! She loved to sew and do little craft projects. She loved her family, especially them grandbabies. Lois spent a great deal of time in the great outdoors, fishing and camping and occasionally hunting. She was a phenomenal cook and was known for her homemade biscuits. More than anything, she loved her Lord and Savior, whom she has now seen face to face.
Lois leaves behind to honor her legacy, her daughter: Daphne Williams of Angier; son: Johnny Barefoot, Jr. of Pine Level; grandchildren: Jeremy Denton, Brittany Barefoot, Susan Barefoot, Sophia Williams, and Jeffrey Creech; great-grandchildren: Noah Denton, Isabela Martinez, Holden Wayne, Maddox McElveen, Graceland McElveen and Justin Creech; sisters: Gayle Flowers and husband Gerald of Kings Mountain and Jane Vaughan of Raleigh; brother: Wayne Johnson and wife Darlene of Raleigh.
The family will receive friends from 7:00PM until 9:00PM on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home and at other times at the home, 1556 Massengill Pond Road, Angier, NC 27501.

I will keep the Family in my prayers. Peayers for her Son JB Barefoot. No matter anything, He Love's His Mother. We talked excessively about his Mom. He wanted nothing more than to do right by her. She loved him more than he even knew. I know because She Told Me, herself. I spent a bunch of time with Lois in the last 3-4 years. She loved her children, was insanely in love with her Grandchildren. Loved her Sister's to the ends of earth. Missed her Beloved Mother Burt. ( I LOVED Burt too). She was a World of Knowledge with a Large Loving Heart! I still remember the day Lois ran over her Favorite Bush in the front yard while Mad & moving her Yellow Truck. Her remarks, Oh Crap, it will be okay. Guess what? It was okay. Life hands us all much, our reaction decides Our Path.
Praying for Family in the days ahead. You are in my thoughts, heart & prayers.

To the family of Lois Warren,
I would like to send my deepest sympathy and prayers for God to give you all peace, comfort and strength at this time. As an ex-family member I recall many good memories of Lois. I know she loved working on her flowers and creating woodworks. She loved her family and her animals. She was a very good cook. I enjoyed many long talks with her over the years I was in the family. As we both got older she enjoyed when I would bring some of my grandkids for a visit. I had not seen her recently but I know her family will surely miss her.
