I lived in the children's home at the same time as Lucy. She was so sweet and a wonderful person... her smile would light up a room...I am so sorry to hear of her passing and my prays are with the family that they may find peace and comforting from our Lord. For he is so great! I am so glad I came to one of the alumni gatherings and got to speak and share some time with lucy to catch up on lost time...Earth lost and Heaven gain...See you Lucy on the other side Beth Hall Thompson

I graduated from high school with Lucy in 1979 from Cape Fear High School. Such a sweet friend in high school such a precious smile. Not a more sweet, soft spoken friend that always showed love to others. We are planning our 40th high school class reunion now and you will certainly be missed Lucy later this year when we all get together, but you will certainly never be forgotten. Prayers for your family!
