Norma Jean Starling

Norma Jean Starling, age 66, of Erwin, North Carolina died on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Norma was born on Friday, October 28, 1955 in Granville County the daughter of the late Charles Otto Grinstead and Wilma Florence Stone Grinstead.

Norma was a homemaker who loved her family, she was loving mother and “Mema.”

She enjoyed going to yard sales and watching television. She looked forward to “Yellowstone” and old Westerns. But going shopping was her favorite thing to do.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 1:00 pm Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Dunn with the Rev. Tim Bass officiating. Burial will follow in Old Bluff Cemetery.

She is survived by: her husband: Ellis Andrew Starling of the home.

Children: Tiffany Riddle & (Boyfriend) Marty Capps of Lillington, NC.

Karen Ammons & (husband) Bryan of Erwin, NC.

Sharon Riddle & (husband) Ray of Erwin, NC.

Shane Temple & (wife) Andrea of Erwin, NC.

Shelly Faircloth & (husband) Ashley of Erwin, NC.

Grandchildren: Jovan Ponce, Courtney Riddle, Junior Riddle, Destiny Riddle, Jonathan Riddle, Blake Faircloth, Renee Faircloth, Samantha Faircloth, Katlin Fife, Jacob Fife and Nick Temple.

Great Grandchildren: Maddox and Paxton Faircloth.

Sister: Ava Krier of Raleigh, NC.

Best Friends: Linda and Judy.

Her favorite child of all was her dog, Shug.

The Family will receive friends Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn, NC. One hour prior to the service.
