Patricia Lucas McLamb

Patricia was born on Sunday, April 11, 1948, in Harnett County, NC, the daughter of the late Herman Webster Lucas and Vada Mae Jackson Lucas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Edward McLamb, Sr., 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Before moving to Greenville, NC, Patricia was a devoted member of Lee’s Grove Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church, in Dunn, NC. Patricia was a retired auditor for the United States Department of Defense.

Mrs. McLamb was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and an inspiration to many.

She is survived by a daughter, Denise Roberts, and late husband Lewis, of Dunn, NC; a son, Jerry “J.J.” Edward McLamb, Jr., and wife, Emily, of Greenville, NC; 4 grandchildren: Macy Roberts and Chris Nichols, Kaitlin Roberts and Aron Clopton, Emma Roberts, and Brayden McLamb; and 1 great-grandchild, Camden Clopton.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home 401 W. Cumberland Street, Dunn, NC, 28334.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Lee’s Grove Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church, 6208 Fairground Road, Dunn, NC 28334, with Pastor Randy Beasley officiating.

Burial will immediately follow at Harnett Devotional Gardens, 5665 Fairground Road, Dunn, NC, 28334.

Patricia’s love for her family was the motivation that kept her going. Our hearts are broken since you are no longer with us, but forever always in our hearts.
