

Pixie was born on Wednesday, February 19, 1947 to Odie Maxwell and Hazel Roberta Jonas Maxwell who preceded her death. Several siblings and extended family members preceded her in death also.
Her family and friends, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren was of utmost importance to her.
A simple cup of coffee and pastry resulted in a perfect smile on her face. Holidays was important to Pixie, spending those special moments’ creating treasured memories for sharing generations to come.
She had an astonishment for Astrology. Playing cards, especially Rummy was a favorite pastime. Pixie loved watching television with an extreme enjoyment of Soccer. Wind chimes was music to her ears creating the perfect serene setting.
Pixie’s passion for cars especially her 1967 Blue Pontiac Firebird. A Pontiac Fierro also really sparked her interest.
Early years of life, gardening and simply working in the yard allowed Pixie a way to enjoy taking care of something she was proud of, her home.
Everyone has a weakness, Dr. Pepper, Juicy Fruit Gum, and anything-dark chocolate was tough for her to resist.
The love Pixie expressed to family and friends was overwhelming visible through her actions and words.
Every action or word spoken was from her heart.
She was not an observer of life, but, rather, an active participant. Her laughter, joy and adventurous spirit was contagious.
Survivors:
Two sons survive pixie: Richard “Tony” Brassfield, of Lowell, AR and Terry Brassfield, of Joplin, MO; one daughter, Jill Brockman, of Coats, NC.
Five grandchildren: Madison Brassfield Pettigrew, Alyssa Brassfield, Blake Brassfield, Kayden Haggard, and Ashlynn Brockman; three great-grandchildren, Isabella Pettigrew, June Brassfield, and Owen Brassfield.
Three sisters: Terry Lashkof (Jeff), of Redwood City, CA, Valerie Wolffe (Thomas), of Redwood City, CA, and Cheryl Aimes, of Las Vegas, NV.
Three Brothers: Arcie Cunningham, of Gravette, AR, Tim Cunningham (Yolanda), of Augusta, GA, and Michael Huber.
The family will hold a celebration of life service honoring Pixie’s memory in the future.
