Benson, NC Mr. Ricky Carr Register, 54, of Benson died Tuesday morning, August 5 at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh. He was born May 18, 1960 in Harnett County, son of the late Thurman and Annie Bass Register. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Lee Adams and a brother, Buck Register. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 9 at 11:00 A.M. at Friendly Chapel PFWB Church, 11455 NC 50, Benson, NC 27504. He is survived by his wife, Norma Register, three daughters, Ashley Greene and husband Dwayne of Angier, Ashley Blake and husband Daniel of McGee’s Crossroads and Anna Michelle Register of the home, three grandchildren, McKenzie Grimes, Bryson Grimes and Lawson Blake, one sister, Frances Campbell of Dunn and two brothers, Earl Register of Benson and Donnie Register of Clayton. The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, Ashley Blake. Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home is serving the Register family.
