Fayetteville, NC

Thomas Anthony Monica II, age 66 of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, N.C.

Mr. Monica was born in Michigan on October 2,1954 the son of the late Thomas Anthony Monica and Dora Mae Cantrell Monica and is preceded in death by his brother, John Mark Monica, and step-brother Roy Staton.

Mr. Monica served his country for over 21 years in U.S. Army.

He enjoyed playing golf, playing music and had a passion for cooking, and was always helping anyone in need.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 4th, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Hamilton officiating.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years: Debra M. Monica of the home.

Daughter: Kimberly Monica of Fayetteville, NC

Sons: Steve Allen Brown of Aransas Pass, Texas

Domenic Monica & (wife) Brittany of Summerville, S.C.

Brandon Michael Mason & (wife) Nicole of Lillington, N.C.

He has 6 Grandchildren and one on the way!

Sisters: Angela Marie Monica of Calhoun, Georgia; Gail Staton

and Penny Gentry of Greenville, S.C.

Brothers: Steven James Monica & (wife) Dina of Lakeland, Fl.

Claude Staton and (wife) Tina of Cartersville, Georgia;

William Staton of Louisiana

The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
