Mr. Faircloth was born June 13, 1940 a native of Harnett County the son of the late William Jefferson “Jeff” Faircloth and Annie Fisher Faircloth and is preceded in death by brothers, Leon and Clarence Faircloth and sisters, Bertha Barbour, Geretha Wrench and Elizabeth Ann Morrison.
Thurman was a graduate of Erwin High School and a U.S. Veteran serving 2 years in the Army. He worked for Coca-Cola for around 12 years as route salesman for the Dunn-Erwin Area, he then went to work at Kelly Springfield/ Goodyear where he retired with 25 years of Service. When he was not working he enjoyed fishing and flounder gigging.
Thurman was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed his family.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buster West officiating. Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park.
He is survived by: His wife of 58 years: Linda Johnson Faircloth of the home.
A Son: Ronnie Faircloth & (wife) Jennifer of Dunn, NC
A Daughter: Holly Pope & (husband) Todd of Coats, NC
His Twin Brother: Herman Faircloth & (wife) Sylvia of Eastover, NC.
Grandchildren: Joshua Barnes & (wife) Taelor, Karson Boggs & (husband) Jordan, Travis Faircloth and Candice Smith & (husband) David.
Great Grandchildren: Caiden, Colton, Levi, Noah, Landon, Ashlyn.
The Family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon – 1:30 pm on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home. Prior to the funeral.
