Ann I. Gullberg

Beloved wife of the late Bruce E. Gullberg; devoted mother of Lisa (Scott) Forehand and Laura (Clint) Winters; cherished grandmother of Ellen Forehand, Clara Forehand, Matthew Forehand, Charlotte Winters, Archie Winters and Trevor Winters; loving daughter of the late Warren and Jane (nee Bergquist) Sellstrom; dear sister of Mary (Bob) Antil; cherished aunt of Mike, Doug and Jim Antil.

Born in Jamestown, NY, Ann graduated from Jamestown High School in the Class of 1964 and received her bachelor’s degree from North Park University in Chicago, IL. She was in the first class to graduate from the school of Nursing.

She married Bruce Gullberg on July 6, 1968. They settled in Cortland, OH where they raised their two daughters. She was a devoted member and choir director at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She cherished spending the summers at Bourne’s Beach on Lake Erie with her family. She retired from Trumbull County Technical Center (TCTC) as a school nurse where she loved taking care of the students. After retirement, they enjoyed their winters in the Villages, FL where she played tons of bridge and golf. In 2016, they moved to Clarence Center, NY to be near their two daughters. Her laughter was contagious and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann Gullberg’s memory to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 490 N High St, Cortland, Ohio 44410.
