STENGEL, Ann M. (nee Cash) Of East Amherst, NY, May 14, 1931 – October 27, 2026 passed at home surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Edward B. Stengel, Sr.; dearest mother of Edward Jr. (Lynn), David (Annie), Michael (Linda), Martin (Anne) Stengel, Ann Marie (Edward) Thompson and the late Gary Stengel; loving grandmother of Hayley, Erin (Eric) Monterastelli, David Jr., Courtney (Garrett) Lake, Michael Jr., Brenden (Deborah), Meagan Bender, Kaitlin and Emily Gelsinger, Rebecca (Jonathan) Piersa, Martin Jr., Kimberly (Brandon) Houck, Jennifer (Tony) Haas, Steven Thompson, and Matthew (Danielle) Thompson and the late Bradley Stengel; great-grandmother of Cailin, Allison, and Camryn Bender; Tyler and Valerie Soos; Taylor and Wyatt Piersa; Jack, Madeline, Clara, and William Houck; Natalie and Emma Haas; Ellie and Enzo Monterastelli; Mia and Mason Lake; and Reagan and Grant Thompson. Daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Cash. Dear sister of the late Joseph (Dolores) Cash, the late Helen and Richard Dombrowski, and the late Catherine and William Mozer; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ann worked for many years as a bookkeeper at Brennan’s Menswear. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was deeply dedicated to her family and her faith. She spent her final years surrounded by the love and care of her family, remaining in the comfort of her home. Family and friends may call on Monday, November 2 from 4-8PM at the DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd, East Amherst, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:30AM at St. Mary's Church, 6919 Transit Rd, East Amherst, please assemble in church.
