Anya Pinninti Cassagnol, of East Amherst, entered into rest on May 28, 2021 at age 8 after a brief illness. Beloved daughter of Uma Pinninti-Cassagnol and Dr. Hans Cassagnol; loving sister of Patrique Cassagnol; cherished granddaughter of Prema and Dr. Krishna Pinninti and the late Marguerite Thony; adored niece of Dr. Usha (Dr. Geoffrey Kaung) Pinninti and Jacqueline Cassagnol; also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Anya lives on in the souls of all of us that she transformed. Once you have known this spirit, the world becomes a place of joy, love and gentleness. Anya, beautiful child, full of endless patience and love, the likes of which her family and friends have never seen before. Her concern for all creatures and the earth, goofball humor, talent in art, and as the watchful guardian of her little brother, we will honor and follow her example.
