Bruce E. Gullberg

Beloved husband of Ann (nee Sellstrom) Gullberg; devoted father of Lisa (Scott) Forehand and Laura (Clint) Winters; cherished grandfather of Ellen Forehand, Clara Forehand, Matthew Forehand, Charlotte Winters, Archie Winters and Trevor Winters; loving son of the late Oscar and Stina (nee Berg) Gullberg; dearest brother-in-law of Mary and Bob Antil; cherished uncle of Mike, Doug and Jim Antil.

Born in Jamestown, NY, Bruce graduated from Jamestown High School in the Class of 1963 and received his bachelor’s degree from Texas Lutheran University. He married Ann Sellstrom on July 6, 1968. He spent time in the Air Force and settled in Cortland, OH where they raised their two daughters. He was a devoted member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, and the Cortland Lions Club. He loved spending his summers at Bourne’s Beach on Lake Erie with his family. He retired from Packard Electric after 30 years. And eventually, they enjoyed their winters in the Villages, FL where he golfed and played basketball. In 2016, they settled in Clarence Center, NY near their two daughters.

His family extends heartfelt thanks to the caring team at Elderwood at Amherst on Memory Lane.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bruce Gullberg’s memory to the Cortland Lions Club.
