He was also employed by the BMHA for many years. No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Spirit RC Church, Saturday June 6th at 9am.
Carmen lived a tremendous life that included many good “gumbadis” from his clan that encompassed his Per Niente family that he shared over 75 years of friendship. When not at work, you could usually find him on a baseball diamond watching his two sons. Carmen was a true inspiration always putting work and his family as his most treasured possessions. Later in life, you could find him at many eateries and breakfast joints with his fellow “ROMEOS” really old men eating out. That phrase was coined by his beloved wife. As life moved on it still mirrored his lifelong passions, where he could still be found sitting with his wife watching their 3 grandchildren play softball and baseball and football. Carmen never thought of himself first, always offering a hand, a discounted work price, a ride or literally the shirt off his back. He never wanted any material possessions just the health and happiness of his friends and family. Always offering his life mantra “everything in moderation” was his secret to his longevity. Called “Pops” by many, Carmen was a calming presence, a loyal husband, and a loving father and he will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
