February 3, 1967 – October 11, 2025
Colleen Borger O’Connor, 58, of East Amherst, New York, formerly of Woodbury, Connecticut, passed away on October 11, 2025, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.
Colleen was the devoted wife of Kevin O’Connor and the proud, loving mother of Kaitlin Rampado (Andrew), Marah O’Connor, and Timothy O’Connor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Carl Borger, and her aunt, Maureen Aronson. She is survived by her sisters Karen Packtor (Joseph) and Kathleen Sayre (Kevin), her uncle, Richard Aronson, her cousin Margaret Labelle (Christopher), and numerous nieces and nephews.
To her family, she was everything — the constant source of love, laughter, and comfort. She had a way of making every ordinary day feel special and every person feel seen.
A lifelong teacher, Colleen spent her career nurturing young minds as an elementary and preschool teacher. Her classroom was always filled with creativity, warmth, and care — a reflection of the incredible heart she shared with everyone she met. She found joy in helping children grow, and her kindness left a lasting mark on countless families.
Colleen was known by all who loved her as selfless, thoughtful, and genuine. She had a beautiful way of caring for others — whether it was through her comforting words, a thoughtful gesture, or her contagious laugh that could light up any room. She was the kind of friend who showed up without being asked and gave without expecting anything in return.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, family, and friends — but her spirit will live on in the love she gave so freely and the lives she touched so deeply.
