

Of East Amherst, New York entered into rest on September 5, 2026 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of 63 years to Nancy (nee Martin) Daigler. Loving father of Debbie (Randy) Bolt, Donnie (Ann Taylor) Daigler, Darcy Daigler, Donna (fiance Joe Destino) Ruggiero. Dear Papa of Stacy (Bill Kennicutt) Bolt, Eric (Makayla) Daigler, Jeffrey Bolt, Bryan Daigler, Katelyn (Anthony) Pellicano, Justin Kardaman, Vincent, Leo and Olivia Ruggiero. Great Papa of Randall Kennicutt, Coramae and Valerie Daigler. Dear son of the late Leonard and Adeline Daigler. Brother of Violet (the late Jim) Van Nuys, Kathleen (the late Paul) Pfentner, Clarence (the late Pam) Daigler and the late Leonard (Rosie) Daigler and Robert Daigler. Brother-in-law of Alice Daigler. East Amherst, NY 14051. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 11, 2026 at 10:30am at St. Mary's Church, 6919 Transit Rd. Swormville, NY 14051. Please assemble at church. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Buffalo-Niagara Honor Flight or the VA of WNY Voluntary Services for Willow Lodge in Don's memory. Don was an active member of the Swormville Fire Co. for over 65 years, serving as Chief, President, Vice- President, Captain and Chief Mechanic. He was on the Board of Directors and served on numerous committees over his years of active membership. He proudly served his country as a U. S. Army tank gunner during the Korean War. His lifelong commitment to public service, brotherhood and country leaves an indelible mark on all who had the honor of serving alongside him.
