Elizabeth A. Tetreault (Ziegler) Of East Amherst, NY., passed on June 6, 2026, at the age of 91. Loving mother of Lynn (William) Ferguson, William (Marie) Kuch and Brian (late Lorie) Kuch; dear grandmother of Shannon (Greg) Cramer, Adam (Brittany) Ferguson, Alexander (Caroline) Kuch, Matthew Kuch, Benjamin Kuch (Kelsey Johnson), Andrew (Elisa) Kuch, Katherine Kuch, Derek ( Courtney) Kuch, Rachel (Steve) Stevens and Joshua (Crystal) Kuch; great grandmother of 8; sister of Deborah (Richard) Roddy, late Charles (Anne Szymansky) and late Ronald Ziegler; Elizabeth is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.

Betty/Liz lived a long, joyful, and deeply fulfilling life. After retiring from her sales career, she devoted herself to her passion for painting, where her talent truly shone. She took great delight in creating personalized artwork for her family, leaving them with cherished pieces to display in their homes.

She also looked forward each year to traveling to Florida to visit her sister and spend time by the ocean—a place she loved dearly. At home, Betty/Liz found happiness in simple pleasures, including playing cards, Rummikub, and bingo with her friends at her apartment building. She especially enjoyed the thrill of winning a few dollars and celebrating those small victories.

Always cheerful, energetic, and full of life, Betty/Liz had a wonderful ability to bring joy to those around her. Whether wearing a silly hat or a light-up headband, she loved making people smile and was often the heart of any gathering.

Above all, she treasured time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren—whether playing together or reading their favorite silly books.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

No prior visitation, family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday June 19 at 11AM at St. Mary's Church in Swormville, NY.
