It was such a pleasure to work with Gene first as a client and later as a coworker and friend. He was so proud of his family. Gene has a special place in the memories and hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.

Gail and Sara we are saddened to learn of Gene’s passing. Jack and I both worked with Gene at Oxy, then he and I worked at Glenn Springs and eventually CRA. Sara remember your dad’s hand will always be on your shoulder.

Though separated by distance by the life path's we followed, we were always close in our hearts and I always knew we could count on each other when needed. Happy Trails 'Bro & will see you down the road.

My dear old friend, be it ski racing, or wind surfing. I remember setting up our boards in the lake when he lived on the shore in Wilson. We were numb from the waist down, as the lake turned over. I so wish I had kept in touch, now sadly he is gone. Looks like he skied a lot longer then me. So sorry for your loss Gail, Peace.

On behalf of the Wilson Yacht Club please let me offer our sincere condolences. Gene was a true gentleman in every sense of the word, quick with a smile and always ready to lend a hand. He was a welcome addition to our club be it Thursday racing or some of the many work parties he helped with. Gene had many friends here and we all mourn his passing.

It was always such a pleasure to run into Gene on the docks at the Wilson Yacht Club. He was always there with a smile and kind word. WYC will miss his smile and willingness to pitch in and help whenever needed. My thoughts are with his family during this sad time.

I am so sorry for this loss. Gene was such a kind and gentle man. I was blessed to be able to sail with him. He loved his wife and daughter so very much. He will be missed greatly. It was an honor to know him , to talk and laugh with him. Such a good man.
