In reflecting on the many conversations and texts that came my way after your passing, I realize that you truly fit a lot of life into your 64 years on this earth . . . you touched so many people and made lifelong friends doing so.  I’m grateful for the time (although too short) we had together, your quirks, your “Chill Sundays,” our playing Padiddle in the car (even when you’d try to distract me so I wouldn’t pay attention to the traffic!), your “messing with me” (when I thought you were serious), and your laugh (oh, that laugh!).  Once I learned you were not going to change your ways (you stubborn German man!), we were able to trust and support each other; I accepted the life you chose to live, and I fit into that life.  I’ll miss watching Sabres’ hockey and our short treks to Tully’s to catch all the Bills’ and other NFL games, and I’ll cherish the fond memories of the trip we made to see Katelyn and Jon and the Bills/Dallas Thanksgiving game. You tried your best to make me happy and life fun (and funny)—and you succeeded.  Every time I find myself at a craft brewery, or eating a homecooked meal of prime rib, I'll think of you.  I’ll miss you so much, but I’m at peace knowing that our time together was good. I most definitely wasn't your first . . . but I am proud to say I was your last love . . .

Jim, your my brother and teammate from little league baseball, youth soccer, high school soccer, pick-up games at Dellwood and Garnet, bar league softball, summer soccer and indoor soccer.

Buster and I use to say we taught you everything you knew, but truth be told your god given ability took you to a place we could never obtain (All American in high school, scoring goals as a freshman at Mount Union).

You always blazed you own path in whatever you did.  Your blazing another path again so say hi to Kathy, Matti, your father in-law, mom, dad, grandma and your sister Debbie and anyone you run into.

Keep kicking the ball around until we're once again teammates again.

We were so shocked to hear about the passing of Jim. I have known and worked with Jim for about 43 years. He was a great friend and always fun to be around and can never be replaced. I will live on with nothing but fond memories of our time together. May he rest in peace!

It was a pleasure and an honor to know Jim through all the years in NISOA! He/I had many soccer related stories to share and he was a true gentlemen on and off the field.  He will sorely be missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

I have worked with Jim for a many years.  I always enjoyed working with him and he will be missed.  Whenever I was with him for any period of time he always said something to make me laugh.  My condolences to the Rudolph family.

In addition to being our regional manager, Jim grew to become our friend.  We'll miss his visits, car conversations and our evening quests to find great places for a burger & beer. Blessings to Jim, Kathy, Matthew and our most heartfelt condolences over Jim's passing. 

It is often rare in the business world when a work relationship develops into a personal connection.  I had the pleasure to work with Jim as our Hammond regional manager.  Considered him not only a colleague but a friend.  I will miss Jim and keep him and his smile with cherished memories.

I am going to miss you my friend!  Tullys won't be the same without you!  Until we meet again, SALUTE
