Beloved husband of Susan E. (nee Groet) Braunscheidel. Loving father of Lori (Kevin) Lorenz, James (Kelly) Braunscheidel, Elaine (Chris) Smaczniak. Cherished grandfather of Keri (Craig), Michael, Bailey, Dylan, Emma, Logan, and Reese. Predeceased by his brothers Clemens (Jean), William (Nancy), and Donald (Gerry). Also survived by many loving family and friends.
Joe was a member of the National Guard, a fourth Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He served on the food shuttle of Western New York for 25 years.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 24, 2026 from 4pm-7pm at DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd, East Amherst, NY 14051. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 10:30am at St. Gregory the Great Church. Please assemble at church.
