Of Pendleton, entered into rest on September 7, 2025 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Davis) McCaffrey, devoted father of Joseph (Gina) McCaffrey, Jr. and Craig (Jennifer) McCaffrey; cherished grandfather of Addison Papaj, Cashel McCaffrey, Joseph McCaffrey III and Griffin McCaffrey; dear brother of Donald and Thomas.
Joe founded Delmar Electric Construction Corp. in 1981 retiring in 2019. In addition he treasured the Niagara Frontier Electrical Contractors Assoc. for 9 years; was also a member of the apprenticeship committee for the Associated Builders and Contractors for 5 years. From 1992 – present he was on the planning board for the Town of Pendleton, serving as chairman for many of the years. Joe enjoyed classic cars and was a member of the Antique Auto Club of America both local region and national and was recently honored with a Senior Grand National award for his 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge. Also a member of the Model A Restorers Club.
Relatives and friends may visit Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Home, 8630 Transit Road, East Amherst, NY 14051 on Thursday September 11, 2025 from 3-7 PM, where his funeral service will be held on Friday September 12th at 10:00 AM.
