Dear Michell, dear Sarah, dear David, dear Kimberly, and dear grieving family. We find it difficult to find comforting words, as the pain is also great for us. We would like to express our deepest sympathy and condolences and wish you strength. Jürgen will always remain in our hearts, and the beautiful memories dry the tears. We are grateful for the wonderful time we spent with him. Our thoughts are with you, Edeltraud, Frank, and Delia.

My deepest condolences. I have a ton of great memories with Jurgen and Jackie, helping out with some daily chores or just sitting and talking about the day. I will never forget the advice Jurgen has given me to help in my career at Niagara Lutheran Home and The Greenfields. Given many chances to succeed, I made sure to not disappoint this great man. Thank you for being a mentor when I really needed it!!

Now the last of my siblings has also passed away. I would have loved to have them always close to me. But as the youngest member of the family, I wasn't granted that.
Not only the age difference but also my siblings' life plans prevented us from living together as a family.
I think my brother and I made the most of the time we were able to spend together, even thousands of kilometers apart.
There was still much to discuss and much that wasn't said, but that's the way time is and always will be. It's limited and moves on inexorably.
I will fondly remember the time we were able to spend together and now I remain as the youngest member of the family.

"Rest eternal grant Jurgen ,O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him."  

Jurgen and I lived half of our lives together as close friends, planners  and workers to fulfill the dream which became Niagara Lutheran Health System which he loved so dearly.   One of my finest memories of him was on a vacation we took to Alaska and he talked me into flying around Mt, McKinley so we  could see the peak hidden from ground level by clouds.  Don't let obsticles get in you way. That's the way he lived.  He was a very loving and caring gentleman whom I will miss until I once again join him.
