Malcolm Ricky Newton left his earthly home to join Jesus on August 23, 2026 at 1:37 a.m. Beloved husband of 56 years to Maureen (nee Gillooly) Newton; loving father to Christopher (Sandra) Newton, Bryan (Kelly) Newton and Amanda Newton and proud grandfather of Averie, Ainsley, Jack, Mallory, Sean and Mary. Devoted son of Suzanne and the late Milton “Newtie” Newton; cherished older brother of Karen Gillman and Stacie (Bob) Pickel and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A lifelong learner and counselor, athlete and coach- he truly practiced what he preached. His vocations were representative of his character. A rugged man with a big heart; this allowed him to protect, educate, encourage and empower. Larger than life, he never made anyone feel small. As a final blessing, he passed at home with his family by his side. Memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo in his memory.
