I had the privilege of meeting and getting to know Melanie many years ago at the Randall MOPS group. I liked her immediately. She was a beautiful, kind and generous soul. I will miss her smile and our catch up talks when our paths would cross. I am praying for her family because I know the loss is great! May the Lord bless and keep you.

What a joy to have shared in Bible Study and prayer in our home with Melanie and Dan only a few short years ago. After we moved away it was a privilege to stay in touch by email and prayer during Melanie's battle with cancer. She was clearly blessed with God's grace in expressing her faith every step along the way. Our hearts are broken for Dan and the children, but confident in our savior with them.

Stacey and I met Dan and Mel right out of college. They were a great example of a down to earth, godly, fun, sarcastic, great-parents couple. We learned a lot just by being around them, in church and in their home. Their hospitality impressed us and taught us how to make guests feel at home and cared for. Their parenting inspired us to be real and walk alongside the children we would some day have, and most of all, point them to Jesus. They served in the church during many different seasons of life together, which we also learned from - as they gave of themselves and their talents.
Mel, even though we haven’t spent much time with you over the last few years, we will miss you dearly - can not wait to see you in heaven, in the presence of Jesus.
Dan, we are heartbroken with you and for you. We love you and we are praying that God’s peace and perfect presence will be so evident in the days to come. Wish we could be there.

Dear Weber family,
I am so sorry for your loss and that I could not be there in person to express my condolences. I only met Melanie once but went to high school with her son Joel. I know that she was a loving, compassionate woman because that was how she raised her son to be. My thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time.

I had a privilege to pick Melanie up from San Jose Airport together with her mom Ms. Margaret a couple of months ago. I had also the honor to pray for her. She went where she belonged to. Blessed are you who believe Melanie is resting in the arms of JESUS. Rejoice and celebrate you children of the living and loving GOD.

Melanie was a beautiful person, inside and out. She lived her life with dignity and grace, even through the last trying year. I did not see her faith waver, although I'm sure she had her moments. Dan, Kelly, Joel, Natalie, and Hannah, my heart is with you and will continue to keep your family in prayer. I can see her being welcomed to her new home with all the family and friends who have preceded her in death. We love you Melanie! May God grant all of you comfort knowing she is out of pain and rejoicing in heaven with her Savior.

Mary Ann and I prayed regularly for Melanie during her struggles, and have been praying for your family. We are so sorry for your loss with Melanie's passing, and while we know she is with her Savior, the grief and pain are real ... so we will keep praying! But we will always treasure the times of Bible study at your home, and our knowing Mel. What a wonderful woman of God, and we were honored to call her friend and know her as a sister in the Lord. God be with you!
