Robert William Laskie

have a memory or condolence to add?

March 19, 2015

Gloria and family - Janet and I were so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He certainly made an impact on Niagara County Community College even though he was there for a short time. We thank him for all he did for NCCC and their Admissions Dept. He taught me everything I still practice as a member of the Admissions team at the College. Bob will always have a special place in our hearts. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Randy and Janet Schultz

Mrs. Laskie, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I pray your memories will bring you comfort at this very difficult time. I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your help and support you gave our son Scott when he was in your class many years ago. If you get a moment, I'd love to let you know how he is doing. You made such a difference in his life, and I thank you. God Bless.

Dear Gloria,
My brother, Kevin McNamara, called me with the sad news that Bob died. It took my breath away. His death is such a tremendous loss to his friends near and far. Just the thought of Bob brings a smile. It always amazed me how Bob could work a room of near-strangers and suddenly we all thought we were great pals.
From where I sit, Bob had a wonderful, joyful life which he was so willing to share. He was so uniquealways glad to see everyone and we all looked forward to seeing him. It is with a deep sense of personal loss that I won't see him again. But the wonderful memory of Bob will always bring a smile. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Dear Gloria, Bob has left you with much to remember him---a lovely daughter and a grandson he adored and many years of married life's memories so he will always be with you. He did much for the community in the organizations which he belonged.
God bless you and strengthen you as you enter your new road of life.

I had the distinct pleasure to work with Bob at NCCC and he became a true friend and eventually a wonderful neighbor. I remember him taking my son Andrew under his wings and teaching him about his love for trains. Andrew use to call him Mr. Bob and wanted to always go next door to see him and his train set. Thank you Bob for being a good neighbor, friend and mentor. I know I speak for the folks in the higher education community when I say you will be sorely missed.
