Sue, a strong leader, a beloved friend, in and out of her stores, represented all that was good about what retail use to be. In a time when retail has become an unforgiving business first, people second, Sue never changed from caring first and foremost for her families for Edward and all the kids, and for her store families.  So, so many have benefited from knowing Sue. Whether it was her teaching co-workers to be outstanding leaders, or just the benefit of her smile, laughter and friendship over a great dinner with those lucky enough to be friends. Our lives are better because, in them, we had Sue Sneck with all our hearts, Sue, we wish you a great, eternal cruise.     

I am so sorry to her of Sue's passing. My heart breaks for my good friend Edward and his family. She will be missed.

Thank you Sue for taking such great care of my brother. You were a fantastic wife and sister-in-law. May you rest in peace.

My condolences to Edward and the entire family. I worked with Sue for almost 21 years at the BonTon and Kohl's.Sue was not just a incredible store leader but she was a incredible person as well. Those of us that were fortunate to have worked with her know how fiercely loyal she was to her team and to those that supported her. Sue was not just a great store partner for me she was a friend, and a mentor as well. I learned a lot from Sue over the years and she had a tremendous influence on my career. She always supported me with my bosses over the years and for that I am forever in her debt. Those of us that were touched by her kindness and generosity (thanks for all those drink tickets at our meetings!) know what a loss it is to no longer have her with us. Thanks for all the lessons and for all the great conversations over the years about family and fun and life outside of retail. You will be missed my friend!

I had the pleasure of working with Sue at Kohls.She was a great manager and person. Her passing breaks my heart and fills me with such sadness.My sincere condolences.

Had the pleasure of working with Sue she definitely by far was always my favorite/the best manager at any job I have ever work this is totally heart breaking

I had the pleasure of meeting Sue approximately 3 - 4 years ago.  I am a Canadian customer of Kohl's and had the pleasure of meeting Sue and we became friends.  She always welcomed me with a Hug and a Smile that was Larger than Life, when she reluctantly told me 2 days before she was going to retire, it really saddened me.  Kohl's is not the same without her.  When u met Sue, her focus was on you and she and I certainly enjoyed talking about Cruising.  I miss her and her presence  at Kohl's.  Heaven has gained a  Beautiful Angel.  Rest in Peace Dear Sue, you will truly be missed.   My sincerest Condolences to her Family.

Sue was a wonderful person.  She had a wicked sense of humor and was a tough, but fair, manager at Kohls.   I felt privileged to have worked for her.   She will be missed by everyone.  My condolences to her family.

After working for Sue for 18+ years with Bon-Ton & Kohl's, I can't express into words the tremendous feeling of loss so many of us are experiencing.  She meant the world to so many.  She taught us so much about being strong and caring, firm and fair, when to break the rules and when to stick to your guns.  She had such a powerful force around her and if you were loyal to her, there was nothing she wouldn't do for you.  My heart goes out to her family and friends.  I was so inspired by her to be my best person and it continues even today.  I miss you, Sue...

When I got hired at Kohls in 2010, I never knew that I would still be working there.  She made it a great place to work.  Always smiling and always having a nice word to say.  I loved talking cruises with her.  Heaven has gained someone wonderful.  Keep watching over Kohls and we will keep looking for "Mr C"!

I had the pleasure of working with Sue at Kohls for 7 years. She was one of the hard working and devoted to her career but also loved her family. She pushed me hard but I know it was only because she wanted the best from me and know I was capable.  Someone posted a quote she used to always use at our Tuesday evening huddles and it brought tears to my eyes You're number 1 in sales, number 1 in credit and number 1 in my heart Rest In Peace Sue! You will be greatly missed!
