

Tom passed away peacefully at home on October 24, 2025. Husband of 59 years to the late Alvera "Elfie" (Achenbach); Tom leaves behind a legacy in his children, Kenneth (Margaret) Roth, Kevin (Ellen) Roth and Karen (Brian) Regan, grandfather of Annalaura, Matthew (Lindsey), TJ ( Kaleigh), Andrew, Theresa Roth, Brian T, Elizabeth, and James Regan; great grandfather of Anderson, Abigail, Archie, Liam, Veralyn, Olivia, Wyatt and Amelia.. Son of the late Albert and Mildred Roth. Brother of David (Marilyn), Bruce (Patty) Roth and the late Ronald (Late Claudia), late Robert (Karen) Roth, late Joyce (Late Charles) Weston. He was a loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday October 29 from 4-6PM followed by a Prayer Service at 6PM at the DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd (1mi N. of Klein Rd). Following services all are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life gathering. Tom will be laid to rest at Clarence Fillmore Cemetery. Tom began his insurance career with the opening of Krawczyk Roth & Gregg which later became Roth Services. His two sons joined the company in the 1980’s, and they all worked together until his passing. Throughout his life, Tom was active in the community, serving on many charitable boards and foundations. He was the President of the Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce, the New York State Insurance Brokers and Agents, St Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, Villa Maria College Board of Trustees and proudly served as a member of the Canisius College President’s Council. When he wasn’t serving his community, he was spending time with his family. He would travel often to see his daughter and her family in Westchester County. He was an avid golfer and shared his passion for golfing with his children. One of his fondest golf memories was his hole-in-one at Brookfield Country Club and he proudly displayed the plaque he received on his bookshelf. In his later years he was a member of the Renaissance Lodge #1188 of Masons where he found much camaraderie. He spent his final years with his companion, Janet Berlinghoff, who brightened his days.
